Paul Menzel via mailop:
"v=DMARC1;p=reject;"
Going into their configuration interface, under the DNS settings for
the domain, there is the entry
STRATO Standard DMARC-Regel
which was selected (but not by me). I chose the other option now,
and contacted their support for an explanation. Let’s see, if they
reply on a holiday.
Hi Paul,
any news on that? Any reply / statement from Strato?
As Mailboxprovider we do what the policy ask for and this hurts our
customers, waiting for messages that now get rejected.
We also **would** send out aggregated DMARC reports, but all domain
are without a rua field.
A DMARC-Policy without requesting aggregated reports is nonsense for
p=none but dangerous for p=[quarantine|reject]
