>We even have a domain called "<something>spamtrap.com", and spammers very >kindly send spam samples to it. It was intended for internal use, but, hey... Yes, it is enough, but needs some patience until the right bot gets it ;-) In my case it was about 5 months (and i injected that address to every webpage). If one will decide to speed it up, eg. by post to some forums, which shows email addresses, i would suggest to choose separate address for that, to one can track, which method works better. I tried to publish some addresses on my HTTP/S honeypot (common IoT ports) too, in pages and in "config" files (supplied for bots), they was provided for many months, fetched many times, but without success, i abandon this idea... But, it is often enough to inspect MTA's/MSA's logs and choose most repeated invalid addresses from there ;-) regards -- Slavko https://www.slavino.sk/ _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list [email protected] https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
