The DNS name (and reverse DNS) of the server doesn't need to have any relation to domains using the server. It just needs to be consistent with itself

i.e. The DNS, reverse DNS and what the SMTP server calls itself all need to be the same

If the DNS name needed to relate to the email domains, then ISPs and ESPs couldn't possibly work.

You use SPF to link the IP address to the domains using it.
