Hi all,

We're seeing a large number of unsubscribe requests for different contacts from the same IP addresses, all located with Azure infrastructure. The list members in question have informed us that the requests were not initiated by them. I appreciate there are situations when this can happen, it's just that this seems particularly unusual and we've had a spike in such complaints.

I'm just wondering if anyone is seeing anything similar and/or whether anyone knows what the cause could be? Is there some sort of known harvesting of such links from email content? Or is something incorrectly scanning/opening unsubscribe links with a POST request?

Many of the IP addresses seem to be listed on AbuseIPDB. I've listed some example IP addresses below (prefixed with a count of the number of requests yesterday):

     10 135.232.19.31
      9 135.232.19.35
      9 135.232.19.38
      7 135.232.20.103
     10 135.232.20.104
     12 135.232.20.12
     19 135.232.20.13
     20 135.232.20.2
      6 135.232.20.203
     18 135.232.20.35
     20 135.232.20.41
     20 135.232.20.45
     15 135.232.20.49
     11 135.232.20.5

Any thoughts welcome,

Andy
