Mailplane talks to: - www.google.com for login - mail.google.com for your inbox - If you add gadgets to your sidebar, it'll also contact those servers (for instance: www.rememberthemilk.com) The auto-update talks to: - mailplaneapp.com This is done completely anonymously by using the Sparkle framework, which is used in many other Mac applications.
