Actually, the only thing that finally ended the madness was switching
to another Gmail account within Mailplane! I would completely close
Mailplane and reopen it on my account, but it would still occur
(restarting my Mac did nothing either), but when my wife returned from
traveling and checked her account using Mailplane the issue resolved
itself. So far it has not returned. Thanks for your input.
