I am using Mailplane Build 920 (on 10.5.6) as well. This post got me to investigate... turns out it *does* work for me... so long as I select the text I want to quote, and then hit "r" (instead of clicking the reply button.) I got the hint because in the Labs description for this feature it says "This works best if you use keyboard shortcuts." Seems like, for me, it ONLY works if you use keyboard shortcuts. ;)
Thanks for the assist, Simon! Mark, you might want to try this (hitting 'r' instead of clicking reply) and let us know if that works on MailPlane 2.0.1 (922.)
