Hi Avi I think this is the same issue that also occurs when using a typing macro such as TypeIt4me. I have had a brief discussion with Ruben about this in which he said it was related to the apple webkit for Safari. An update is coming which will fix it. Can't wait... . the fix now is to keep your gmail text size at 100% in mailplane/prefs/tweakit.
your mileage may vary with this fix ( it doesn't alway seem to fix created errors in a message but helps stop new ones from that point on). I find the 100% font size to be about 75% of what i usually need. :-) I have also noticed that if you ignore the errors and continue typing , then select a group of text and make and choose a font size to fix things , the text may go back to normal but the line spacing can remain distorted. regards David 2009/1/9 Avi Flax <[email protected]> > > I'm using Mailplane 2.0 (920) on an Intel Mac with all the latest > software updates, including Safari 3.2.1 (5525.27.1). > > When I'm editing an email using the "Rich Formatting" WYSIWYG editor, > I frequently use the Delete key on my keyboard to delete content, > either one character at a time, or by selecting some text and then > hitting Delete.
