Hi Tim, I think it is related to the "Auto BCC" feature. Please go to Preferences->Accounts. Select the active (bold) account and check the "Auto Insert BCC (Gmail 2 only)" setting. The contents of this field is inserted into the BCC field of each outgoing message.
