On my MacBook Pro running Leopard, I have defined two locations named
Home and Work. The Home location configures my wired and my wireless
connections to not use a proxy server (pretty standard stuff when
setting up home networking). My Work location configures my wired and
wireless connections to use my company's firewall. It also configures
my wireless connection to use 802.1x with WPA.

Generally, I keep Mailplane 2.0 running all of the time. I have it
configured to use a secure connection.

When I come home, I switch my MBP location to Home. When I report to
work, I switch my MBP location to Work. These switches are done with
Mailplane running.

Quite often when I make this switch (Home to Work or Work to Home),
Mailplane will get stuck when it attempts to update itself. More
often than not, this occurs when I attempt to send an e-mail.
Mailplane will display "Still working..." or "Loading..." near the top
of its main window. So far, the only way I can recover from this is
to quit Mailplane and restart it.

If I am in the middle of sending a new e-mail when this occurs, I risk
losing what I typed in unless I copy/paste the content of the e-mail
prior to closing Mailplane.

There used to be a setting inside Mailplane to use the system webkit
but that setting appears to be removed in 2.0. Is anyone else seeing
behavior similar to this?
