Just posted a preview build with offline support.
Mailplane can now be started when offline, you can even switch accounts
without network connection :) It's a whole new feeling.

It may still be buggy, if you like to test it please visit the preview build
and post your experiences here.

Thanks for your help!

Known issues:

   - Unread message counter isn't updated when working offline.
   - Composing in a separate window doesn't work when offline. Workaround:
   ⇧-click the "Compose Mail" link.
   - "Use secure connection" has been disabled (http is used). To use a
secure connection (https), go to your Gmail settings and enable "Always use
   https" [image: Always use https]
   - In rare case the inbox doesn't load. Workaround:
      - Stop Mailplane
      - Open Finder and go to ~/Library/Application Support/Mailplane
      - Delete all *.cookies files (But do NOT delete Accounts.xml!)
      - Start Mailplane
