Hi there, I often use the "new mail" notification menu bar widget to open mail as it comes in; however, reading mail in the pop-up window that this opens doesn't seem to mark mail as read reliably, especially when immediately archiving the conversation after it opens.
In my daily usage, I get lots of automated messages that I just skim and hit "e" to archive. Mailplane closes the window, stating that the conversation was archived. But if open my inbox, the mail will sit there, unread and un-archived. I'd like to read these automated messages only once (they clog up my inbox otherwise)... Another, probably unrelated and less annoying, problem I'm getting is that if I "read" or archive conversations, the notifier widget isn't updated immediately. This may be hard to do (I suppose it uses the inbox feed like google notifier does), but it would be really neat to get realtime inbox status in there.
