Unfortunately, this is probably a Gmail problem. Please try this:- Do a
"Mailplane->Emtpy Cache"
- Command-Click the sign out link (hold down the ⌘-Key until you see the
login window)
- Click login again

Does it help? If not:
- Go to Gmail/Settings
- Change the "Always use https" setting (enable if disabled or vice versa)
- Any change?
