Yes, it does. The thing is, it apparently works in Mailplane, too, but it doesn't LOOK like it works and Mailplane doesn't know it happened. And the contact doesn't show up in the contact list. When I attempted to add that same contact in Gmail, I got the error message about not being able to have the same address twice. So, clearly the contact was saved into the system. However, I checked all the places it could have gone and it's not there.
