Very good - the problem seems to be related to the keychain (this is Tiger problem).
Please try this: - Open "Keychain Access" - Search for the Mailplane password entries - Double click each entry: -- switch to the Access tab -- Select "Allow all applications to access this item" (or similar) Retry to start Mailplane.
