Mailplane doesn't modify how the send or archive commands work, so I don't see how it could happen. Maybe it's indeed a Gmail glitch. I just checked the official Gmail "known issues" page, but the problems aren't listed: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=known_issues.cs
