Lately, if someone sends me a chat message in GMail, Mailplane does not play the alert sound. So, if I've got Mailplane running but have closed the window to get it out of the way, it doesn't play the sound and I miss the message. If I leave the window open, I DO get the sound. What is going on here?
Also, a while back, I noticed that my GMail Redesigned css wasn't working correctly anymore. The fonts still seem to be bigger/bold, etc., and part of the top menu bar is show like it should be (where it says Settings, Log Off, etc.). But everything else (the LOOK of everything, the graphics, etc.) look how my GMail theme does. When I start Mailplane, the GMail Redesigned loading screen comes up, and then I get the mostly GMail-themed Gmail window. I installed the Safari 4 beta when it came out, and I noticed the problems AROUND that time. Is that possibly the culprit? Another thing, if I click on "Use Older Version," more of the GMail Redesigned skin comes back, but some of the images are still missing (e.g., the label colors do not show up; it's just a regular label in gray, with the white text and the SHAPE of the Redesigned theme). What's going on HERE?
