- When you click "Save Now" Gmail takes the focus away from the current
 input field
- The "Insert Email" button is disabled when you the focus isn't on an input
field
- It seems to be a Gmail change/problem, as before the current field would
remain focused.
- The Draft auto save works correctly, though.

Workaround (until Gmail is fixed):
- After the save, click any input field to give it focus
