Offline Gmail stopped to work for me. I was able to synchronize, but when I went to "Flaky network connection" or try to use Gmail when offline, I could not load any message detail. The solution was found in the "Offline Gmail" Google Group:
*Using the Sender Time Zone lab in conjunction with Offline Gmail will prevent you from opening messages while offline or in Flaky Connection Mode.
