Mailplane is the only application left on my Leopard machine that still uses a drawer. Most every other application I use has long since gone towards a source list, following Apple's lead. Some, like Tweetie, have developed compact and innovative interface elements to represent a list of possible views and the modal states between them.
Would the developer consider modernizing the Mailplane UI and moving to a source list for accounts? Alternatively, a horizontal bar of accounts (not quite a tab bar, but similar in height and location) would be a welcome improvement. The unsightly drawer eats up screen real estate without providing much visual benefit. One would need to have dozens of Gmail accounts to actually make use of the entire vertical space of the drawer. Please consider an alternative. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mailplaneapp" group.
