It's most likely a Gmail lab problem when used with WebKit. To find out, please try this:- Completely disable Gmail labs to see if it helps. - If the problem goes away, try to find out which Gmail lab feature is causing the problem. - If nothing helps: Try Gmail in Safari (not Firefox) to see if you get the same problem there too.
Tip: One Gmail lab feature that did have scrolling issues is "Multiple Inboxes".
