A friend linked me to a browser called Stainless which is built on
Webkit. What makes it interesting is the interesting blend of Firefox
and Chrome features—plus its own unique twist: Stainless has the
ability to create single-session tabs and windows, effectively
allowing you to be signed in to two or more GMail accounts at once
while still staying within the same browser window. It doesn't work
with Google Gears, but it sets the ground for what could be a major
breakthrough in web browsing.

I think it'd be worth asking the Stainless team about their approach
to single-session tabs and windows; I had thought this was impossible
as per indications from Ruben earlier when the question was asked.
Could this be Mailplane 3.0?

I suspect the Stainless feature is related to the idea it borrows from
Chromium: each tab is its own process. I could be completely wrong
though. Either way, I think it'd be worth investigating. This is a
feature that has been sought after multiple times, and I think it
would be a tremendous addition to Mailplane. A side effect of being
logged in to all of one's GMail accounts simultaneously is having
Google Gears synchronized for all accounts concurrently, which would
be awesome.
