I am using v. 2.1 (1237) on OSX 10.5.8 build 9L30. For some reason with the last update switching between accounts has become quite difficult. App either hangs at -Mailplane is switching to [email protected], or it presents the screen after while that says gmail is taking longer than usual to load, try https (which I already have set to use in the account set up) or to disable labs (which I have tried). Sometimes the account will eventually load and other times it won't load and I have to close Mailplane and restart it.
