In the latest beta before the 2.1.2 preview, if I clicked in the Reply box and started typing, there would be no text; it also triggered any shortcut keys. From the release notes, it seems that the preview version was supposed to have fixed this, but while the shortcut keys are no longer triggered there is still no text going into the reply box.
