Hi Tim,

The CPU usage you are seeing is not standard behavior. I get under 2% on a
MacBook Pro (foreground, main window open displays inbox).

Could you try this version http://mailplaneapp.com/download/preview/?

If it doesn't help, please send me a process sample:
- Open Activity Monitor
- Double Click the Mailplane process
- Press the "Sample" button
- Copy/Paste all lines to the email and send it to ruben AT mailplaneapp.com
