Hi Ruben, not sure if there is something that changed between Leopard and Snow Leopard, but now I have been able to make the clipping work again by changing the key sequence to something else, in my case Command-O.
It was working fine under Leopard, but when I added a new MacBook Pro with 10.6 I was never able to make it work.
