I thought this problem had gone, but it is back with a vengeance. I
can usually switch over to Chrome, login to the account that is stuck,
and read a message or two before Mailplane finally timeouts and
suggests disabling labs (which is not going to happen.)

Nothing useful in the console.

For a while there I thought it might be related to busier times of the
day or network connection, but the doesn't seem to the the case since
I can open the account in question in a browser.
