Yes, I like the icon and unread message badge (they were created by
http://jonasraskdesign.com/).

No everybody has the same taste, of course. Customizing icons/badges would be
easy (They live in Application bundle). Unfortunately this isn't easy anymore.
Apple requires apps to be "codesigned". Replacing the application icon (or any
other part of the application) breaks the codesigning. So when you change the
icon Mailplane wouldn't be able to access the keychain to read the password
and as a result couldn't check for new email.
