I came across this really useful Firefox plugin for Gmail valled Boomerang that lets you take control of when you send and receive email messages. It works for Gmail accounts and Google Apps / Hosted Gmail email accounts.

I find this feature crucial for my workflow. I used to schedule sending of my emails for years with Eudora. I know that something like it also exists in Outlook. When I switched to Apple Mail I found a workaround wht a script, although it is sometimes messy. Can't believe Gmail doesn't, not even in its Labs!!!!! Lucky me I foud this plugin...

Due to some problems with the IMAP sync between Mail and Gmail, I am now trying out Mailplane, but now again find myself having to make the choice between using Mailplane without the ability of scheduling emails or using webmail.

Any chances this could be used or set up with Mailplane?

check it out:
