The basic instruction is to click and drag on the Mailplane icon in the
title bar. You'll get a file that's a link to the message. Double clicking
it opens Mailplane with that message open.

It's handy for those times you want a link to a mail message in another
program. If it accepts
attachments, you're good to go. Examples would be a task in a task manager
or an order
e-mail in a financial program.
