Hi Heini,

This much memory is not normal. I had a couple of similar problem reports,
and they all seemed to relate to a extension or inputmanager

There are two "hidden" settings to disable extensions/inputmanagers etc.
DisableExtensions: Disables all InputManagers, web plugins, but not Flash
DisableFlashPlugin: Disables the Adobe Flash plugin

You can set the preferences using the terminal application:
defaults write com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane <SettingsName> -bool <YES|NO>

example to disables all extensions:
defaults write com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane DisableExtensions -bool YES

Does it make a difference?
Thanks.
