Hi Gary,
Do you use Mailplane's signature feature? If yes, then the problem could be the 
"email" field in the signature preferences. It must exactly match the "from" 
address. If you have multiple signatures for the same address: Use the "Mail > 
Insert > Signature" menu item to change the signature.
