Account management is something I want to improve. Meanwhile, here are some tips & tricks:
Tip #1: Try this: http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/access-two-gmail-accounts-at-once-in.htmlThe second window will not provide much Mailplane functionality, but it should work. The new Gmail email delegation feature could be a solution, too: http://mailplaneapp.com/blog/entry/email_delegation_granting_access_to_your_gmail_account/ <http://mailplaneapp.com/blog/entry/email_delegation_granting_access_to_your_gmail_account/> Tip #2: If you don't like the drawer there are other ways to switch accounts: - Control-⌘-A (Mailplane > Switch to account) - Click the little envelope letter in the menu bar and select your account. Tip #3: Improve notifications to reduce the account switches: Mailplane can notify multiple accounts: Please go to Preferences > General > New Mail Notifications and set the "Counter is calculated from" setting to "All Signed-In Accounts". Next make sure your accounts are signed in. Either use the Accounts Drawer or go to Preferences > Accounts and turn on "Automatically login when needed" for each account. http://mailplaneapp.com/features/entry/background_account_notifications/ You can do the same for Growl (http://growl.info) and Sound notifications. Tip #4: Give your accounts nicknames and different colors.
