Over the last days, I received A couple of users reported the same issue. I tried to duplicate the issue on my side, but it always worked correctly.
Here's what I found about the issue. Maybe the parameter is stored as a cookie. Does resetting the Gmail session help in any way? (Mailplane > Reset Gmail Session). http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090331225818AAqI0eq Its thier normal april fools joke...last year every vid you clicked on was a rick roll **EDIT** Even though April Fool's day is over you can still view videos upside down on purpose by putting '&Flip=1' (Without quotes) since YouTube took the prank off the home page they still didnt disable the feature. So send someone a link with the flip code in it to a email just to play with yyour friends lol.
