It took me a long while, but I am getting very close to switching my parents to Macintosh, yippie! I am sick and tired of fixing the damn Windows machine they have now, and since most things they do are online, I rather have them go to Mac OS X and make my life as remote debugger simpler! :-)
And next week it will be my dad's 80th birtday, and he will receive a new white MacBook. I probably will be happier than him! :-D As both my parents use Gmail, and since I would like to consolidate every photo, MP3 and documents on one single account, avoiding the messy login and logout situation they have now with Windows, I was wondering if Mailplane could help me with email, as I would not like to use Mail.app since they are always online. Ideally, I would like to have two different Mailplane links on the dock, one that would open only my dad's Gmail account, and the other one opening my mom's Gmail account. Same application, but invoked with two different configurations. Again, and let me stress that, this will be on the same account on the machine (I trust they don't have many secrets to keep, after being married 48 years!) Is this something possible?
