I am not sure what causes the probem.
Please try the following steps:
1) Stop Mailplane
2) In Finder navigate to HOME/Library/Application Support/Mailplane
3) Move all files ending with the word .cookies to the Trash (do not remove any
other file!)
4) Restart Mailplane
