Thank you for the follow up and asking.

To be honest, when Lion was released, I gave the new Mail.app a spin
but came back to Mailplane this last week.  Mailplane is still the
best of both worlds of Gmail and Mail.app.

And even better, I have been using Mailplane 2.5-preview1 (it doesn't
update to the officially released version, waiting on the next
preview?) and it seems fine.  No crashes of late that I have noticed.
