I hate to say it... As much as I try to continue to use Safari, it is
getting slower and more buggy as the releases continue. It is a shame
that Apple keeps Safari so up to date with respect to HTML spec and
Javascript, always being many steps ahead of current standards, always
passing tests with flying colors, yet the app itself worsens.

It seems that with the release of Safari which added memory protection
per tab, that is about when things went downhill. As soon as I saw
"Safari Web Content" as a running process in Activity Monitor was when
I noticed things were off.

I love the feel of Safari and how it allows me to work, but if I can't
work in the app because it is too slow, or chewing up too much memory,
all those features are a waste.

I see Chrome has disabled SSB (Site Specific Browser) features, but it
is noted to be coming soon. I'm not sure if SSB'ing is a tipping
point to making a MailPlane that uses Chrome as the base, but whatever
is, is it something on the roadmap?

Chrome seems to run Gmail so much better, at less expense of memory.
Flash works much smoother, and user scripts along with many other
tools are in good parity with what is offered to all other platforms.

Thanks
