Thanks for the feedback. The Mailplane (1653).app is only a temporary name, after the auto-update installed the update the name should be back to Mailplane.app. So my guess is that the auto-update wasn't successful.
Solution: - Move Mailpane (1653).app to the Trash - Download and install the latest version from here http://mailplaneapp.com/download/preview Hope this helps.
