In MailPlane, with the new google look enabled, the quick reply box is back. Very happy to have that back. Please don't take that away :)
However, when you work in the quick reply, it will put your cursor at the top, blinking, ready to accept your typing. Pressing keys will do no typing. In order to work around this issue, you have to click somewhere in the text area, then start typing, at which point, typing works as expected. Something is capturing the first keystroke event somehow, and a user click seem to cancel that capture and set things back to normal. Anyone else seeing this behavior? if you are not seeing this behavior, could you list the Labs that you have enabled, as that could be related. I have moved to disabling most of mine for the time being, to make sure that I am not introducing any conflicts. I just confirmed, this is a MailPlane issue, Gmail proper in Safari does not exhibit this behavior.
