Thanks for the problem report. Unfortunately, this one cannot be fixed…

"Search in Google" context menu item, this is hardwired (by Apple) to Safari 
:(. The context menu is shown in all Mac OS X (Cocoa) applications and is not 
provided by Mailplane. Unfortunately, I cannot fix this issue - only Apple can 
do it. It's still the same in Lion, I am afraid…
