FYI... When I receive email, some images show up as attachments where I'm offered the option to view / download. Others show up inline without those options. When I select an inline image I can pull up a context-sesitive menu that offers me the option to download the image. But when I do, what is downloaded is not the image but rather an .html file.
The solution I've found is to drag the image to the desktop.
