I have just started using Mailplane (and gmail) recently and can't seem to get the email signature to work. I have created the signature in Preferences however it is not automatically inserted into new messages and I can not manually insert it as the Mail>Insert>Signature option is greyed out.
Am I supposed to have changed some settings in Gmail first? I believe I am using rich text mode (that is the default I think?). Do I need to turn signatures on in the Gmail settings also? I am using the trial version of Mailplane if that makes any difference. I would like to know that this can be resolved before purchasing.
