Same question here. We use lots of apps from the google marketplace and the 
black toolbar allows us to login to them directly. It's very convient 
because it's a kind of single signin thru gmail/mailplane to all of 
associated apps.

To us this toolbar is not an option, removing it is a no go to mailplane 3.

I hope the dev team is reconsidering this as a major issue !
