Thanks so much, Jessica!

Just thought I'd add that there's a more general problem here of
determining where links should open (new tab in Mailplane vs. new window in
Mailplane vs. browser), which Mailplane is trying to solve automatically,
but not always succeeding. For instance, if you get an email with a link to
Google Maps in it and click the link, it is opened in your browser.
However, if you add a location to an event in your Calendar tab in
Mailplane, and then click the "Map" link Gcal renders for that location
when you click the event in the calendar view, the map is loaded in a new
Mailplane window. And holding ⌘ while clicking the link doesn't change the
behavior (e.g. open it in the browser), as it does in Gmail. There are
several other examples like this.

So Mailplane's determination of what an "external" link is is inconsistent,
and so is the feature to hold ⌘ when clicking to toggle opening in your
browser vs. in Mailplane.

I'm guessing making external link detection consistent will be a quick fix,
and so will making the ⌘-click behavior consistent.

But ideally, Mailplane would let users open Google services in tabs, and
also offer a setting like "Always open [Google Maps | Google Groups | … |
All Google Services] links in [default browser | new Mailplane tab | new
Mailplane window]".

Thanks for your consideration.
