I've noticed that mailplane's CPU usage is consistently between 10-15% on my Core i7 MBP. The strange thing is when it first loads, it's about 3%, and closing the window helps, but after a certain amount of time it just eats up CPU like crazy and the only solution is to restart the app.
I don't understand why this usage is so high. Safari only uses about 3% at any given time, and that's with several tabs open. Is this something that will ever be look at?
