I'm just double checking for you. I don't think there is a function for this, as you typically get the outgoing message confirmation on the top of the screen, but I do understand how it would be useful if you're not looking at the screen. I'll let you know if there is a way. If you don't hear back, please know that it's added to the feature request list!
