Thanks for the quick response. I don't remember seeing these in the past,
so maybe the Times has figured out a new ad configuration.

But I think you're also telling me that Mailplane won't hide these ads,
while FF or my other browsers will.

Frankly, that's a deal killer.  I've been a long time user of Mailplane,
but I'm afraid this may be the end.

The best I can say is that, if you think this is something you will look at
in the future, please let me know if you solve it.
