Hi Jonathan;

Thanks for writing.  This terminal command isn't necessary anymore. 
 Clicking Mailplane >Reset Mailplane should provide the same function.

Which version of Mailplane/which OS X are you running?  Are you getting an 
error message (yellow box)?
