GQueues works for me! Sometimes I have to completely close my mail tab and re-open to kick-start it but I definitely set up dates/appts daily using GQ.
Have you tried it lately or at least download the Chrome app. I use Chrome as my browser and it only works when I am logged in to the app in Chrome.
